BIO

I'm David Feng — a builder and thinker interested in the intersection of technology, ideas, and craft. I spend my time making things that are useful, beautiful, or at least honest.

My background is in software engineering, but I think of myself less as an engineer and more as someone who uses engineering as a medium. The goal has always been to understand things deeply enough to build them well.

Outside of screens: I take photographs, read broadly, and try to have conversations that change my mind. I'm skeptical of people who are very certain about things.

This portfolio is my attempt at a public record — work I've done, things I've thought, images I've made. It's always a work in progress.
